Bump Update 22 Weeks
I hope you all had a great week! Steve and Jack are up north for the day so its a girl's day for Savi and I. Too bad she isn't old enough yet to go to the spa or get our nails one ;) Last week we had our ultrasound and everything looked great. I do have to go back next week so they can try and get a few more pictures since the baby wasn't cooperating at the end. I still feel like it is going to be forever till the baby is here but I know once Fall hits it will go quick. [Bring on the sleepless nights] Off to Grandmas now! Enjoy the weather and last few weeks of summer.
How Far Along: 22 Weeks
Weight Gain: +13 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Mainly just dresses! Otherwise, I can still wear my normal mom uniform “aka” workout gear.
Symptoms: Okay, this is driving me nuts people. I am STILL sick in the mornings. Not as bad as the first trimester, but I have to eat something right away or ill vomit everywhere. In addition, I’m still needing to eat every 2-3 hours otherwise I get shaky and nauseas. I did not have it this long with either of my pregnancies, but I will say that it happened more with Jack than Savannah’s pregnancy [ Boy maybe?!] I have said from the beginning that I would bet money that it’s a boy, but we won’t find out until the big day ;) Another fun symptom I’ve beenhaving, that I never had with any past pregnancies, is acid reflux after I eat. It’s not horrible but just super uncomfortable! I have hit the stage where not only do I have to pee a lot but when I do it is a SMALL amount… ugh. My bladder is officially being squished.
Mood: Besides being frustrated with how much my body needs food, I am doing well! Sleep is normal and energy levels haven’t really changed. I am still able to move around normally so I will soak up this moment while it lasts ;)
Missing Anything: Nothing too much! I do get excited for the moment that I can fit into my clothes again and not stress about what actually fits and what doesn’t at this point. Since all my pregnancies have been during the same months I never really got much for summer maternity clothing. I have been able to fit in all my normal shorts but they are getting tight…Fall hurry up!
Workouts: They are going SO good finally! I am getting good sweaty workouts. I started taking spin at a new place by my house [ Surge Cycling]. I like that I can still do 98% of everything going on in class and the class goes by so quick with the great music and instructors! I still go to barre and love that I always leave the class sore the next day… always challenging. Both workouts are great for those in great shape or those like me who are half way through pregnancy ;) If you’re in the area, hit me up and we can take a class together!
