Bump Update 14-15 Weeks
I hope everyone is having a good weekend thus far. My weekend consists of a ton of deep cleaning at the house. Now that I’m feeling a lot better, I should address the neglect this house has had the past few months! I can’t wait for Monday though, I am taking Jack to his first fireworks show J
How far along: 14-15 Weeks
Maternity Clothes: Not yet!
Weight Gain: I don’t know why, but everyone is always so curious about this aspect of pregnancy [JK I am one of them]. With Jack I can’t even attempt to type the amount of weight I gained with him! Savannah was a slow and steady weight gain which really helped in the end when wanting to get back into shape. I want to say it was around 25-28 lbs. However, for some reason with her I did loose 5 lbs my last two weeks. This time around I am +5 lbs. I gained the most from 9-12 weeks…. Stupid carbs. I swear the first place you will always see it on me is my face.
Symptoms: The morning sickness is 99% gone! For some reason I’ll randomly get sick when I wake up but nothing crazy. I am still at the point where I feel like I need to eat every 2-3 hours or else I get nauseas [which is not helping in the weight gain department!] This week I got super sick. I woke up and everything was spinning and I was so dizzy I could barely walk. I have never felt that before! It would then turn into puking and constant nausea. My first thought was dehydration; I’m extremely bad about drinking water even when I am not pregnant. I tried different fluids but everything would come back up. Finally, I got an appointment at my OB and they had me on anti- nausea meds and did give me some medication for the dizziness. However, the anti-nausea really helped everything all around. Probably because it allowed me to keep fluids and popsicles down. [By the way if you don't follow me on IG- I got Pedialyte pops and they are awesome!] I basically just slept for the next 24 hours and did manage to get some food to stay down. Next morning, I started feeling my like myself! Still took it easy and pumped more fluids but overall good. Other than that fiasco I'm starting to "enjoy" this pregnancy more.
Mood: Besides from being sick I'm doing well! Every now and then it sucks because you realize how much your bodies chang and it happening in the summer isn't the most fun ;)
Missing Anything: Still a darn Bloody Mary! I also miss not being able to workout as hard as I used too, but still trying to keep up.
Workouts: Good! Usually getting one in every day, along with a walk with the kids in the morning. Like I said above, I just miss being able to go as hard as I used to. I get out of breath way faster now with all the additional blood flowing through my body. I am still in my challenge group and we are almost half way done. I am so happy I decided to join it, otherwise my accountability wouldn't be where it is now! Plus, the extra help on nutrition has really helped.
Now, I am back to cleaning & a fun girls lunch out with my BFF who is about to POP! [I wouldn’t mind your water breaking at lunch ;) ] Have a great 4th of July everyone!!
