Brewery Tour + Dirty 30!

Brewery Tour + Dirty 30!

Even though Steve has till May 1st to officially turn [30], we celebrated his birthday this past weekend!! For a while he has been talking about doing a brewery tour, getting a limo and all that pizazz… and that we did :)

To start off the weekend I met my mother in law half way to drop the kids off for the weekend, yup the ENTIRE weekend! Friday night was super quiet in the house, and I caught myself many times wanting to tell Steve to be quiet because the kids were sleeping… bad habit. This defiantly isn’t the first time we have been alone without kids in the house, and it's still weird every time. If I was smart, I would have accomplished my to do list but I decided the couch and food was a better option.

Saturday morning rolled around and we didn’t get out of bed till almost 10!! I don’t think that has happened since high school. It felt amazing! We did a few things around the house and then I hit the driving range with Steve. I haven’t swung a golf club since we got married… that was a sight to see. Then it was time to hit the breweries!

I haven’t been to any of the breweries in Minneapolis so I was excited to check them out. Our first stop was the 612 Brewery. First thing I spotted… FOOD TRUCK! I devoured the tacos and debated going back for more. Everyone was talking more about the food than the beer there. Rumor had it there was a pizza food truck at the next stop however! For those wondering, yes this is a brewery tour, but I find food a higher priority sometimes ;)

Next stop was Indeed Brewing Co. This place was little bit busier, we cozied up by the bar to check it all out. But again…. I was wondering where the heck this pizza food truck was. At this point we could tell the birthday boy was starting to enjoy his drinks ;) We actually didn’t stay very long here. We basically had a drink, ate pizza then booked it out.

Our last stop was Fulton Brewery! Busy. Busy. Busy. This place was packed. Of course what did I notice first…. The LONG-slow moving line for the food truck. This time I was more concerned about getting food in Steve versus me this time. Steve defiantly took the lead on getting food. Like I said the line was long, so what did Steve do to get food? [Sorry for telling this story Steve] He went up to the front of the line and told the guy that he hasn’t received his tacos yet and have been waiting for a long time now. Yeah, I was embarrassed. But he got tacos asap, and for free…. I know that was horrible of him to do that. Chalk it up to all the drinks consumed. Our time with the limo was coming to an end so we started wrapping it up and headed back towards home.

Of course the night wasn’t over for some of the group. [ It was only 8:30 pm at this point] So we dropped half of them off at a bar by our house and the rest of us went home. I soaked up the quiet time in the house, got my PJs on and turn on the TV. The guys didn’t last too long at the bar [ or should I say Steve didn’t] so I ended up going to pick them up not even 15 minutes after getting into bed. Argh. I defiantly left some great moments out from the night but for the birthday boys sake ill end it here and leave that between everyone who came out to celebrate [and my snapchat followers].  Hope you had a great time Steve, enjoy your last few days being in your 20’s!
